Julius Sen is an Associate Director and Senior Programme Advisor at LSE Enterprise.
Julius is both an academic and a policy practitioner. For 25 years he was a member of the senior civil service in India working in remote states and in the federal government, and since 2003 has been working with the LSE on designing and delivering executive education and training programmes for governments, the private sector and regulatory agencies on virtually all areas of public policy. Since the financial crisis, much of his work has been with reference to insulating systems from systemic financial risks of various sorts. He also runs his own consultancy and has been active in analysing global regulatory issues and trends relating to issues as varied as animal rights, the tobacco industry, and the dredging sector.
