Congratulations to Dr Hyun Song Shin on his nomination as Governor of the Bank of Korea.
Dr Hyun Song Shin is a renowned economist, and he spent the past 12 years as the top economic adviser at the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), following academic appointments at LSE, Oxford University and Princeton University.
We are especially proud of his long-standing connection with the Financial Markets Group. We wish him every success in this important new role.
